TigerPlace Pet Initiative (TiPPI) Veterinary Medicine Clinic

TiPPI is a one-of-a-kind clinic.  Staffed by faculty and students from the MU College of Veterinary Medicine, TiPPI allows residents’ pets to receive care in the building.  It is a wonderful service to the residents and a excellent opportunity for Veterinary Medicine students to have experiences with older adults in non-traditional clinic setting.

TigerCare Wellness Center

Operated by Sinclair Home Care, the Home Health Agency of the MU Sinclair School of Nursing, TigerCare Wellness Center bring the right care to the client at the right time, and thus may eliminate the need to move to a restrictive environment such as a nursing home.  TigerCare Wellness Center is open 3 days per week to serve the residents of TigerPlace. 

TigerCize Exercise and Spa area

Exercise classes are offered 5 days a week for residents of TigerPlace.  TigerCize offers classes designed for the older adult to remain active and healthy.  In addition, resident have access to exercise equipment and a specially designed spa which allows resident to enter without stepping over the high edge of a normal tub.
